Lol, no need for an apology, I did say I enjoyed it immensely and liked it. I think you misunderstand! If I wasn't able to get it across, I'll state it more clearly this time: I think the story is gorgeous. I just meant that it is usually a big feat for me to actually like something that I usually would not under normal circumstances.
I apologize for the two sides of the same story. My friend suggested that one. And at first I was hesitant, but I finally found a voice for Harry which I'd been lacking. It justified a few of his actions but not totally. I think this was definitely needed and definitely not redundant.
I was worried about that. Mostly because of all the graphic sex and their obvious draw to one another, it happens rather fast in this...but as I like to think that their mutual obsessions from their teen years helped fuel that. Also the need to one up the other.
The next chapter won't be quite as sexual. If there is any sex. It was kind of my ground breaker, really. Anyway I'm rambling.
I liked the sex very much. I swear.
I'm actually impressed that you took on to my comment very pleasantly. You're quite mistaken though, I actually did enjoy all parts. I just thought I wouldn't. It had all things I usually would veer away from yet I could not because your storytelling and your imagery were very beautiful, very raw, and very powerful. I could go on and on and on about how I had this story in my mind the whole day so it is safe to say that I was completely absorbed, entertained, and intrigued.
I actually did re-read it again a while ago and realized how the theme about obsession seemed to be central--something I didn't quite catch initially as I focused too much on the misfortune Draco's been placed in and Harry's incapability to be a worthy human being.
It's very subtle and I'm quite curious on how this would pan out. It is perfect the way it is though, don't get me wrong--you don't have to append or to add chapters or epilogues but that would sate my curiosity.
