OMG, I love this fiercely. Fiercely. It's not a scenario I ever envisioned before, but it felt totally plausible to me.

This is the first (and only) thing I've ever read that made me care about Dudley. I didn't believe that was possible, but my heart just broke for him. It was believable and gritty and the end was hopeful and so bittersweet. All of that in just a few hundred words!
